3rd Grade
I am a 1992 graduate of Augusta High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Newman University in 1997 and graduated with a Masters in Education from Wichita State University in 2004.
My Bachelor’s Degree is K-6 elementary education and my Master’s Degree is Special Education, Mild Exceptionalities for grades K-9.
I began my teaching career in 1998 at Lincoln Elementary and I’ve been here ever since. I have been teaching third grade since 2007. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I also serve as a mentor to first and second year elementary teachers in our district.
Prior to teaching third grade I taught first grade for two years and special education for seven years.
I live in Augusta with my husband Jeremy, who is a Math Interventionist at Lincoln, and our daughter Delaney, who is a student at Augusta High School. Our oldest daughter Brianna and her husband Cody have two daughters, Addison and Arya. Our daughter Allison and her husband Josiah have 3 sons, Beckett, Baker and Bo. In my free time I enjoy reading, working on home improvement projects, watching Wichita State basketball, spending time with my growing family, and planning my next Disney Vacation!
