I began teaching at Robinson Elementary in 2006.    With the closing of Robinson, I moved over to Lincoln as a Reading Specialist in 2022. 

I began my teaching career in 2000, teaching middle school math and science to 6^th graders.  I have since taught 4^th grade and 1^st grade.  I was also Instructional Support for other elementary teachers.  Most of my years in the classroom were spent teaching Kindergarten.

I got married in 1999.  We have three children that have either graduated from USD 402 or currently attend schools in USD 402.  Our daughter attends college in Nebraska and our boys attend the high school and middle school here.  We also have one cat and one hunting dog. 

When I am not at school, I love pretty much anything that involves being outside.  We enjoy the lake during the summer and I relieve stress by running outside frequently.  We keep very busy with all of the activities my children participate in.
