I began my teaching experience here at Lincoln in August 2012.
Prior to teaching, I spent 5 years as a para-educator at Belle Plaine Elementary and then at Grandview Elementary in El Dorado.
My husband, Josh and I are high school sweethearts, having dated since Oct. of 2000 and marring in Nov. of 2011. We have lived in Augusta since 2009. We have been fur parents of our adorable pug Goober since 2005. This summer (May 2019) we welcomed our first child, son, Quentin.
I am the oldest of three children. I have four nieces and a nephew. I moved around a lot as a child but have always called Kansas my home! I LOVE teaching and spend a lot of free time working in my classroom. I am always on the lookout for new, fun activities and ideas for my class. When I’m not working, I enjoy painting and spending time with my family. I also enjoy classic video games, especially anything Mario Brothers!
