Homecoming Early Release – Friday, October 2

This Friday, October 2, students will be released early for the Augusta Homecoming Parade.

Early Release Times:
Augusta High School/Augusta Middle School: 1:00 PM
All Elementary Schools: 1:15 PM

There will be NO afterschool care provided by the district or Beehive Child Care on Friday. All students will need to be picked up at their early release time. Please make arrangements in advance for your student.

In addition, the District Office will close at 2:00 PM that afternoon.

Homecoming Parade
We invite our families and community to join us downtown and help celebrate Homecoming!
The parade begins at 2:00 PM at 7th and State Street and will travel south on State Street to the roundabout.
If your student is participating in the parade, please follow the instructions provided by their school or organization for lineup. Students participating in the parade will need to be picked up at the end of the parade route near the roundabout.

Community Tailgate
Keep the Homecoming celebration going with the Community Tailgate from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Augusta High School parking lot!
For just $5, your ticket includes:
• Main dish
• Side dish
• Dessert
• Drink

The Community Tailgate is organized by Go Augusta with the support of many community sponsors. It’s a great opportunity to grab dinner, visit with friends and neighbors, and get ready to cheer on the Orioles at the Homecoming game against Rose Hill!
